Exemplify Relaunches

Welcome to Exemplify’s re-launch!

To say I’m excited is the understatement of the year. I AM EXCITED.

The beauty of this re-launch is that Exemplify’s mission is still the same: encourage women to live lives that glorify Christ. The only difference is the way the ministry is going about doing that.

The focus here, for now, is going to be the quarterly bible study series, spotlight shows and some plans that will be shared later in the year. You can get all the in depth details here.

We’re still rolling out changes and giving this home a makeover so please have patience as we work things out.

In the meantime please know: You are welcome here.

***Below is the letter that was released on the Talk 21 website.***

For a few weeks now I’ve been hinting at a change that would be happening for Talk 21. I’m so excited to be able to share the details with you today!

If you will remember with me, when Exemplify first began, the mission was to encourage women to live lives that glorify. We offered a monthly magazine and quite a few blog channels for women in all styles of life. For me, personally, though the magazine was a beautiful thing… I knew in my heart after some time that the format was not the best way for me to be serving in ministry.

The Lord was asking me step out and believe him – to rethink the ministry and move it in the direction He was asking. And for a while I knew that meant stepping away from it. I closed up shop and took a major sabbatical to see where He would have me go. I can promise you, I have not stopped thinking about the ministry or praying about it since that day.

It’s been almost two years since Exemplify Magazine ended and in that time I’ve begun to step up into a new chapter of ministry. One that you’ve gotten a taste of here at Talk 21.

Only as we got closer and closer to the release of the first bible study series, my husband and I really started to feel like this ministry was meant to be under the umbrella of Exemplify for a number of reasons. We prayed about it, talked to some people we love about it, and came to the decision to take Talk 21 and move it to Exemplify. Which means…

Exemplify Online is live again!

Talk 21 from here on out will be a quarterly/weekly podcast under the Exemplify Ministries umbrella.

This doesn’t mean much change from what I’ve shared in the past few months. Yet. We are envisioning some amazing things for the future of the ministry, but right now the focus is the quarterly bible studies & the spotlight shows.

This website  will soon send you over to ExemplifyOnline.com. From here on out, all the content is being moved that way and while I will be updating this place until the redirect takes place near the end of the month, I recommend you hop on over there and sign up for the feed so you don’t miss a single thing!

It feels good to share this news and to be serving under Exemplify again. Though we are doing things differently, the heart of the ministry is the same, and if I may say so, it is more alive than it has ever been.

I hope to see you active over there — starting today even!

With love,

Kristen

Breakfast on the Beach – Week 2: How He Loves

It’s Thursday which means a new Breakfast on the Beach podcast!

This week we are talking about how Jesus loves and just what waiting before Him may mean for us.

I had a worksheet going for this session but it isn’t working. That’s okay though, it won’t mess with things. Still working out the kinks and little bumps in the road as we hit them. No big deal!

Also still working out a blog writing schedule for when I’m doing the series. Trying to find a groove that doesn’t take away from the weekly lessons and preparation that goes into each one.

Below is the newest session and it has also been added to the main series page.

I hope you will listen sometime in the next week. I get so nervous about these things, so pray I don’t lose too much weight over the next few weeks. ;-) (A little is okay, just not too much! I kid, I kid…)

I pray today Jesus would be everything to you – that His love would be paramount and that He would meet you somewhere within the pages of John 11 (our study spot this week!)

By the way, I didn’t even realize this session’s podcast would be released during Valentine’s Week. How cool is that! He made sure His love for us was on the calendar…

Monday Morning Musing :: A Happy Week

I feel like being happy this week. How about you?

I’d like to make this a week where I appreciate lovely, simple, pretty things. A week where I sip tea while reading a really great book or a week where I wear only my favorite outfits.

It just feels like that kind of week!

This Hans Christian Andersen quote is speaking to me.

What simple things have made you happy lately?
