Monday Morning Musing: True Path

Welcome back to Monday Morning Musing. It’s a fun, relaxed day around Exemplify when we toss a quote into the mix and ask a response question. I haven’t done it in a bit but now that my Mac is back up and running, I can happily create again! :)

My word focus of the year in my own personal time before the Lord is the word “true” – and it keeps popping up all around me!

This verse has been a favorite for a while but I’ve been refocusing on it.

Did you choose a word focus for the year? What and why?

“Steadfast” spoke to me and now I’m starting to wonder if this one word business isn’t wrecking my years. I’ve done this three times and each year has been HARD. Maybe I’ll choose a fluffy word next time around. Something safe and snazzy and without room for even one tough lesson. Razzmatazz, for instance. ;)

I’ve had the same experience every year too. I even took a year off from doing it so that I could escape the hard & well, that was the worst year yet. ;-)

Steadfast. THAT is a good pick.

    Dare.

And it went well…in the beginning.
    Now…it sucketh.

Maybe soon I will have the energy to dare again.

This is what happened when I chose “purpose.” Remember how the following year I refused to pick a word? I so. get. this. Sigh…
