Recommended Reading: Love Does by Bob Goff

Last year I made a list of 101 goals I’d like to accomplish in 1,001 days. One of my goals was to choose a day and celebrate life all day long. No reason necessary, just for the fun of it.

Bob Goff lives like that every single day.

And now so am I.

I had a mini faith breakdown a few years ago and one of the main things I was struggling with was the general lack of joy all around me. Not just in my own life, but in the lives of so many “christians” I knew. What abounded was pride, selfishness, mean-spiritedness, etc. But what rarely ran free was whimsy and joy.

I wondered why we were such a sad bunch when the very One who created laughter lives inside of us. Where had we gone wrong? If you are wondering the same thing, this book, Love Does,  is for YOU.

Bob Goff gets the good stuff of joy and he spills over with it. He’s contagious, courageous, cheerful, and he loves Jesus. Fancy that!

The best books speak to many people on the most personal of levels. Everyone I know who has read this book has said the same thing: it is a must read and a life-changing one. It speaks to each person differently, but yet … somehow the same.

It is one I will curl up with and laugh through for years to come.

Now, I’d love to stay and write more, but there are adventures waiting and I don’t want to miss a thing.

You can find Love Does on Amazon.

*I got a copy of this book for free from Booksneeze in exchange for an honest review. Thoughts are completely mine.
