Weekend Word :: May 2

I shared on my blog last month how these dandelions always reminded me of this command Jesus gave his disciples…I like to imagine us as the seeds and God blowing us to each end of the earth.

I have spent a great deal of time this week reading blogs. But not ordinary blogs, for these bloggers are doing something amazing. Compassion sends bloggers to their different projects in the countries they serve. Last year several bloggers went to Uganda and the Dominican Republic. And right now several bloggers are making their way back home after their week in India. I have weeped, laughed, and changed this week after reading their posts. They are just some of the seeds going forth into the world.

If you get a chance I would encourage you to visit The Compassion Bloggers India website and read their thoughts and reactions.

It will devastate you. It will not leave you the same. It will make you want to be a seed.

Waiting to be a seed,
