Meet Judith :: Interview Columnist

judithJudith is a carefree college instructor pursuing her doctorate while trying to juggle marriage, church, work, and entertaining her favorite puppy, Vicki. She is an obsessive compulsive writer who’s branching out in various areas, including novel writing with her husband, Kyle, and podcasting to show teens that abstinence is possible and a better route to go.

Judith blogs at Fearfully, Wonderfully Made and tries to show Christ’s love to others on a daily basis. While failing on a daily basis, she is reminded of God’s mercy and how obedience to the one true Maker is better than any treasure found on this earth.

Favorite leisure activity: Curling up with Kyle and Vicki and watching a good movie. Pizza should also be involved.

Favorite TV show: The Office and Lost are at the top, but I probably DVR too many.

Favorite book: Let’s go favorite authors: Francine Rivers, Jane Austen, and Alison Weir for historical nonfiction.

Favorite music: It varies with my mood. Grits when I’m playful, Marc Broussard and Tyrone Wells when I’m nostalgic, Addison Road and Flyleaf when I want to sing with the songs at the top of my lungs in the car. I also love Robert Randolph and the Family Band, David Crowder (who DOESN’T like David Crowder), Paramore, and Coldplay. And Flame. And Miranda Lambert. And….

Favorite drink: Coffee. Bring me coffee, and I will be your best friend for life.

Favorite meal: I am such a junkie. Fast food! Chick-fil-a, Wendy’s, and a Louisiana favorite, Johnny’s Pizza!

Favorite place to vacation: If there’s water, I will go. I am a water child.

Favorite quote: “I dreamed I was at work. Can I get comp time for that?” — BFF, Rindy

  1. Hi Judith,

    My name is Kaitlyn Mack, publicist for a new Christian based TV show called Reach Magazine TV (www.reachmagazinetv.com) premiering on TBN/JCTV November 2, 2009.

    I’m contacting you on behalf of the female host of the show, Sherrie Marlene. Sherrie has an incredibly interesting life story but most importantly right now is pursuing a dream of reaching out to youth and being a positive role model through Reach.

    Singing on the worship team at church and spending time with her family are among her many priorities, including an upcoming inspirational tour where the Reach hosts will be visiting Southern California youth groups, high schools, and colleges giving inspiring presentations.

    Through Reach Magazine TV, Sherrie Marlene hopes to be able to positively reach out to young men and women; demonstrating how to live lives according to God and still have fun and fit in.

    I am eclosing additional information on Sherrie and Reach Magazine TV.

    If interested in doing a story/interview with Sherrie, please contact me at kaitlyn@reachmagazinetv.com or by phone at 413-204-3439. Thank you so much for you time and consideration. I look forward to hearing from you!
